If Lost Start Here is a guide for the anxious, curious, lonely and lost. Featuring everyday places and at-home prompts designed to help you live a life that feels good.
I help people feel better in their everyday lives, get to a better place, and have more good days by developing an attainable well-being practice that meets them wherever they are, with whatever it is they need.
With a background in the arts and the therapeutic, I’m a seeker: of ideas, ways of being, and modern wisdom. I love connecting disparate dots, whether that’s recommending podcasts, sourcing well-being research, or introducing people to someone whose ideas might change their life.
In my work with clients, I bring together curiosity, creativity, and positive psychology, with some Californian warmth. I draw from transactional analysis, somatics, neuroscience, Positive Intelligence, and really anything that might help to understand what it means to be a person in this world, and how we can possibly do life with all that life now needs to contain.
I’m an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and one of the world’s first certified Emotions Coaching Practitioners (with In Good Company).
If you’re interested in finding out more about what coaching is or isn’t, this might help.

I take an open mindset, science-based thinking, and a natural curiosity into my sessions and help people who are similarly searching find their way. What might this look like?
You may be someone who knows there’s something missing in your life, and needs help finding what that is.
Or you may be someone who knows exactly what they need in life, but needs support to get to it.
You may be someone who needs a plan to orientate yourself in your days and not just your calendar.
Or you may be someone who needs to explore what is it you feel, and what to do with this new emotional vocabulary once you have it.
You may be overwhelmed — by all the things, by all the thoughts — and are desperate for a moment and a space to hear what you really need, what you actually want, what you could believe about yourself.
You may be someone lost, who has withdrawn from what brought you joy, whose life no longer orientates around the values you once held and you often wonder how you got here and where do you go now?
You may be none of these, or some of these, but there is something… And that is what coaching can help you with. All assumptions about “coaching” aside, see this as the space for you to think and the time for you to explore what matters in your life.
In my practice, you can be assured of a safe space, thoughtful enquiry, and openness to whatever you bring. I work one-on-one with clients, almost entirely over Zoom (which is much less scary and much more intimate than it sounds). If you’re in the Bath, Somerset area, we can also arrange to meet in-person, in a cafe or co-working space (email me directly to organize a time).
“An instant connection. Claire brings a warm, gentle and deep interest in me as a person. From the very first moment with Claire, I have felt safe and welcomed.
She is intuitively sensitive to what might be beyond words and helps me reach the depths I don’t often allow myself to dive into.”
These sessions will help you find your way through life in a way that makes sense to you. We’ll take you from where you are now, look at where you want to be, and figure out how to get you there.
Where do you currently find yourself lost? Is it in an area of your life that is niggling at you: like career, family, parenting, relationships, or well-being more widely?
Or is there something specific keeping you stuck? Overwhelm, fear, Imposter Syndrome, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, or something as yet undefined?
These sessions create the space to get curious about your life, and find ways to move you forwards.
This is where we take all the things that we explore here at If Lost and put them into practise, in your life, wherever you are.
We’ll look at what’s meaningful to you from our ten Pathways — like how do you think about connection, how does wonder come into world, what’s happening with how your body is talking to your mind?
We’ll quieten all the noise of what wellbeing is supposed to be and figure out what your practice needs to be. We’ll co-create your prescription for everyday life tailored to your needs and values.
Together we’ll get you to a place of better emotional, mental and physical health.
In these sessions I help women in midlife (and any of the M’s listed here) have a better relationship with this time in their lives. As things – sometimes it feels like all the things – shift in this midpoint – so too does how we see ourselves, how we think about our lives, and how we consider what’s next.
In these sessions, we’ll identify how our needs (and wants) might be different now, how a gap might have shown up between where we are and where we’d like to be, and how to get to a mindset that can make it all that much better.
How are you feeling? Really.
Let’s take a look at that together.
In these sessions, you’ll get to explore the life of your emotions and get curious about what they’re telling you. From joy to sadness, fear to love, what magical insights will your emotions reveal to you?
As one of the world's first accredited Emotions Coaching Practitioners, I can help you uncover how to feel better in your everyday life.

“Claire is a fantastic coach. She is a warm, friendly, and compassionate person who has this natural ability to make you feel really comfortable and at ease when being coached by her.
I experienced a range of emotions with Claire! From tears of sadness and frustration when opening up and offloading some difficult topics I had been bottling up, to tears of joy and laughter when managing to break down personal barriers, see other perspectives, and find a way forward.
Throughout the process I found Claire to be a great listener, very perceptive, asking questions that gave me the right amount of challenge when I needed it and really made me think.
Grateful for the support and for the experience of working with Claire, I highly recommend her.
