We begin by slowing things down. There's space to arrive exactly as you are, without needing to explain, justify or make sense of everything straight away.
Name what's there

We listen closely to what you're actually feeling — grief, anxiety, anger, fear, guilt, or something harder to name — without rushing to manage or tidy it up. Being heard properly is often what starts to bring things into focus.
Find clearer language

When emotions are named more precisely, they tend to feel less overwhelming. What once felt like a flood often becomes something you can stand alongside and understand.
Build self-trust

From there, it becomes easier to respond with care, setting boundaries, asking for support, making choices that feel more aligned rather than reacting out of habit or self-criticism.

Hi, I’m Claire
I'm an emotions coach and writer, and my work is grounded in listening closely to how people actually experience their emotional lives. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or at a crossroads, helping them understand what they're feeling and why, and learn how to work with their emotions rather than push them aside.
My approach is calm, compassionate and practical. Clients often describe our work as grounding and clarifying, a space to slow down, make sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and leave with a greater sense of steadiness and direction.
