About

You are ... The Everyday Explorer

Your tendency to get up, out and moving is a signifier of your adventurous spirit, it also speaks to your understanding of what it means to be human and what people need in order to flourish. You value nature, open spaces and the feeling of your heart pumping.

You thrive when your schedule allows for ample time to find new paths, and make new discoveries. In this modern world, we think it's safe to say, we all wish we were a little more like you. Sure we all understand the importance of getting out and into nature, and getting our bodies moving, but few of us actually put this knowledge into action.

Your greatest gift is the high level perspective you've worked so hard to find.

You are socially conscious and feel a great deal of responsibility when it comes to protecting and preserving this world, and preserving your own sanity while you're at it.

Your Challenge? Making sure you're present in the modern world (with all of the woes it brings). You have a knack for seeing the bigger picture and designing your life in a way that works for you...just make sure you aren't avoiding the things in life that may challenge you. There are lessons to be found there, too.

Need a little push towards taking care of yourself in a new way?

Projects You'll Love

The Become Project
with Bethany C. Meyers

The be.come project is a body-neutral, I-can-do-it, go-on-and-love-yourself approach to boutique fitness in an accessible 25-minute routine.

“At the be.come project, we don’t do before and after pictures. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE BS. Health exists at every size. And what good is a “skinny” picture if you feel like crap? So instead, we focus on how we feel before and after every be.come session. Literally. In order to unlock / lock your routine, you’ll be prompted with the question “how am I feeling?” and a list of emotions to choose from. It’s pretty powerful stuff. In fact, the most chosen word before a routine is “tired” and the most chosen word after a routine is “strong.” BAM”

Who are we?

Hi, we're Claire and Amanda

(founders of online guide: If Lost, Start Here)

If Lost is a resource that combines everything we know about what people need in order to thrive, with all of the places, projects and initiatives that exist to meet those needs.

We believe that in shifting our daily lives in small ways, we have the power to transform our worlds; that strong communities make for happy individuals; that there are places in the world that can hold us, shape us, bring us back to ourselves . . . even when it feels we’ve forever lost our way.

Over are the days of navigating life alone. Let’s find our way, together.
