What brings you here?

Where do you currently find yourself lost?

Is there an area of your life that is niggling at you: your career, family, parenting, relationships, or your well-being more widely?

Is there something specific keeping you stuck: maybe overwhelm, fear, self-doubt, or something as yet undefined?

Or maybe you just feel unmoored, ungrounded or directionless?

Our 1:1 sessions are designed to help you get curious about your life and discover more of what you need.

How can we help you find what you are looking for?

How to create a life

These sessions are for anyone who is:

  • feeling disconnected from yourself and your life: you just don’t feel quite in it anymore and have lost contact with what matters most to you

  • looking for a version of self-care that feels more relatable and that takes a holistic view of your life

  • wanting to build a wellbeing tool-kit to get you through uncertain times and the days when you wobble

We’ll work with you to create a tailored wellbeing plan that fits with your values, your beliefs and your needs and that also comes from a place of curiosity, acceptance and play.

You’ll get to explore key areas that are truly important to you. Like: How do you feel about the relationships in your life? How are you finding purpose right now (if at all)? How much do you find yourself tethered to tech?

Together, we'll develop a personalized prescription for your everyday life that can best support your emotional, mental, and physical well-being.

These sessions can help you feel better in your everyday life, get to a better place, and have more good days by developing an attainable life practice that meets you wherever you are, with whatever it is you need.

How to feel better

We can have a complicated relationship with our emotions - from not feeling anything to feeling all the things. But how we feel can determine how we live.

Emotions can show up everywhere (even if we don’t want them too): in our workplaces, relationships, and how we see and take care of ourselves.

We might even find there’s one emotion that we have a particularly sticky relationship with like anxiety, fear, love, or happiness.

In these sessions, you’ll find a safe space in which to explore your relationship with your emotions so that you can feel better in your everyday life.

If you’re stuck in an emotion, like fear, stress, overwhelm, or anxiety, these sessions can help you better understand why this is showing up and what to do with it.

If you’re struggling with even the idea of bringing joy, love and happiness into your life, these sessions can help you welcome this emotion in so you can access all it can bring.

Explore how to literally feel better in your life. In these sessions, you’ll learn how to have a more positive relationship with your feelings.

How to navigate midlife

Midlife can be a challenging time for women as we navigate through a multitude of changes.

As things – sometimes it feels like all the things – shift in this midpoint, so too does how we see ourselves, how we think about our lives, and how we consider what’s next.

If you’re in midlife, these sessions will help you have a better relationship with this time. You’ll identify your needs and desires, bridge any gaps between where you are and where you want to be and cultivate strategies for making it all that much better.

You’ll discover how to navigate midlife and beyond in ways that feel more intentional and positive.

How to get unstuck

We’re all a little lost right now.

Are you someone who knows there’s something missing in your life, and you need help finding what that is? You are unsure, you might be withdrawing from what brought you joy, or you might be aware that your life no longer orientates around the values you once held. You wonder how you got here and where you go now.

Or you might be feeling overwhelmed — by all the things, by all the thoughts — and are desperate for just a moment and the space to hear what you really need, what you actually want, what you could believe about yourself.

You might though know exactly what you need in life, you've very clear on where you are going, but you need some support to get there.

And you might be experiencing none of these, or a mix of these, but there is something…

These sessions are designed to help you find your way to… well, you choose.

About working with Claire Fitzsimmons

These sessions are led by Claire Fitzsimmons, an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a certified Emotions Coaching Practitioner and our resident Wellbeing Curator.

In Claire’s practice, you can be assured of a safe space, thoughtful inquiry, and openness to whatever you bring.

Claire brings together curiosity, creativity, and positive psychology, with some Californian warmth. She draws from transactional analysis, somatics, neuroscience, Positive Intelligence, and really anything that might help to understand what it means to be a person in this world, and how we can possibly do life with all that life now needs to contain.

Claire works one-on-one with clients, almost entirely over Zoom (which is much less scary and much more intimate than it sounds). If you’re in the Bath, Somerset, Claire practices out of SoulSpa once a month.

Claire has contributed pieces on mental health and emotional well-being to Liz Earle Wellbeing, Long Reads, The New York Times, The Independent, Anxy Magazine, Mother, UpperCase Magazine and Good Therapy, amongst others, and has been featured in Stylist, Muddy Stilettos and The Slow Living Guide. She writes on Substack under More Good Days. You can find out more about Claire here.

If you’re interested in finding out more about what coaching is or isn’t, this might help. You can find out here what clients say about Claire’s sessions.

Your session will not only help you but will support others too

As with everything we do at If Lost, 10% of these sessions go towards initiatives that support better emotional and mental health for everyone. The organisations that we support changes – you can see who we’re currently sending (and have previously sent) donations to here.

— Muddy Stilettos
Claire is a fantastic coach. She is a warm, friendly, and compassionate person who has this natural ability to make you feel really comfortable and at ease when being coached by her.

I experienced a range of emotions with Claire! From tears of sadness and frustration when opening up and offloading some difficult topics I had been bottling up, to tears of joy and laughter when managing to break down personal barriers, see other perspectives, and find a way forward.

Throughout the process I found Claire to be a great listener, very perceptive, asking questions that gave me the right amount of challenge when I needed it and really made me think.

Grateful for the support and for the experience of working with Claire, I highly recommend her.

An instant connection. Claire brings a warm, gentle and deep interest in me as a person. From the very first moment with Claire, I have felt safe and welcomed.
She is intuitively sensitive to what might be beyond words and helps me reach the depths I don’t often allow myself to dive into.
