An online journaling and wellbeing session with Claire Fitzsimmons
Summer is supposed to be the easy season. The season of long evenings, holidays, ice creams, adventure and rest. And yet for many of us it arrives carrying a surprising amount of emotional weight.
Alongside the excitement and anticipation can come pressure to make the most of every moment, guilt about work and family commitments, frustration at disrupted routines, comparison, overwhelm, and the bittersweet feeling that time is moving faster than we'd like.
Before we fill our diaries, pack the suitcases, or begin counting down the weeks, what if we took an hour to check in with how we're actually feeling about the summer ahead?
Join wellbeing coach and If Lost Start Here co-founder Claire Fitzsimmons for a relaxed and reflective online session exploring the emotional landscape of summer.
Together we'll create a Summer Feelings Constellation – a simple guided exercise that helps you map the emotions, hopes, expectations and worries you're carrying into the season ahead. Using journaling prompts, reflection exercises and conversation, we'll make space for the feelings that often get overlooked beneath the pressure to simply enjoy ourselves.
No artistic ability is needed. Just bring some paper, a few pens, and yourself.
In this session we'll explore:
The emotions summer tends to bring up for us
The expectations, assumptions and pressures we carry into the season
What we might need more (or less) of this summer
How to make space for joy without demanding perfection
Small ways to care for our wellbeing through busy, unpredictable weeks
You'll leave with:
Your own Summer Feelings Constellation to keep and revisit
Greater awareness of the emotions you're bringing into the season
A clearer sense of what matters most to you this summer
Permission to let go of a few impossible expectations
Practical ideas for supporting your wellbeing over the months ahead
