Writing to Well is a monthly journaling session designed to help you slow down, check in, and reconnect with what’s going on beneath the surface of everyday life. It’s not about writing perfect sentences. It’s more about writing whatever you need to, whether that’s a few words, a messy page, or fully formed thoughts you hadn’t realised were there.
We’ll work with a mix of simple practices—freewriting, prompts, mind-mapping, and reflective exercises—to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in your own way. Some prompts might land straight away; others you might circle back to later. There’s no right way through.
You don’t need to be “a writer.” You just need something to write with, and the space to begin.
This session is all about exploring nature as a way to better wellbeing, from how you like to seek it out and how you’d like to bring more of it into your everyday life.
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you like. Sometimes that might be a sentence, a word, or simply something you noticed. Other times, it might just be the act of writing itself that matters.
Writing slows us down enough to notice what’s there. It can bring clarity, help us name what we’re feeling, and offer a different perspective on something that’s been sitting just out of reach. And when we do this alongside others—even without saying a word—there’s a sense of shared experience that reminds us we’re not figuring it all out alone. That’s a form of vital connection too.
