Writing to Well: A Monthly Journaling Workshop for Everyday Wellbeing

There are moments when what we need isn’t more advice, more structure, or more to do but a little space to hear ourselves think again.

This workshop is a gentle invitation into that space.

Writing to Well is a monthly journaling session designed to help you slow down, check in, and reconnect with what’s going on beneath the surface of everyday life. It’s not about writing well. It’s about writing honestly whether that comes out as a few words, a messy page, or something you didn’t expect to find.

Each session brings us together for a shared pause. A small pocket of time where you can step out of the noise and into something quieter, more personal, and more human.

We’ll work with a mix of simple practices—freewriting, prompts, mind-mapping, and reflective exercises—to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in your own way. Some prompts might land straight away; others you might circle back to later. There’s no right way through.

You don’t need to be “a writer.” You just need something to write with, and a willingness to begin.

What often happens in these spaces is subtle but powerful. Writing slows us down enough to notice what’s there. It can bring clarity, help us name what we’re feeling, and offer a different perspective on something that’s been sitting just out of reach. And when we do this alongside others—even without saying a word—there’s a sense of shared experience that reminds us we’re not figuring it all out alone.

Our first session will focus on reimagining wellbeing—not the version you feel you should be doing, but the one that might actually meet you where you are, especially on the days that feel busy, uncertain, or a little overwhelming.

You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you like. Sometimes that might be a sentence, a word, or simply something you noticed. Other times, it might just be the act of writing itself that matters.

Because when we write, something shifts.
