With an ability to rise above the noise of the surrounding world, you never fail to tap in and find the deeper meaning or lesson in a given situation. While the rest of us are bumbling through, lost in the details of our days, you have a unique ability to rise above the noise and see a situation for what it is.
You are a fierce protector of your time and energy. While it can be hard for many people to see the bigger picture, you are an adept observer. You are more likely than your peers to integrate all sides of who you are.
The connections you have with friends and family are intentionally curated and deeply meaningful to you. While you value your alone time and personal growth, you are committed to fostering the relationships that matter most to you. You want the people you love to grow and succeed right alongside you.
You thrive when your world is predictable (though not boring). You've worked hard to find your peace, and you'd like to hold on to it.
Your challenge? To make peace with the modern world and embrace imperfection. There is no way any person can ever live a “perfect” life. Release yourself from that notion. Welcome spontaneity. Relinquish control.
Need a little push towards taking care of yourself in a new way?
Like a good friend holding your hand and bringing you along, Picardi is curious and open to all as he explores how faith can ‘fit into our lives today when the secular doesn’t feel like enough and the spiritual doesn’t always feel like a home’.
Jini Reddy's "Wanderland: A Search for Magic in the Landscape"
In this memoir, London-based journalist Jini Reddy follows her instinct, setting out on serendipitous quests around the UK to seek a deeper relationship with nature, her self-defined God. Through searching for a hidden spring, tracing the Glastonbury Zodiac, making blindfolded journeys through rolling hills, Reddy opens herself up to something: the non-visible, the indefinable, the intangible that also resides in, maybe adjacent to, our human world.
Religion is woven all the way through but lightly so, giving texture rather than judgment: in the depressed musical loving priest, the teenage narratives playing out amongst prayers, hymns and assembly, and six-foot daylight rules and unusual prom themes. There’s no foregrounding of faith, rather just people immersed in their own stories, figuring out faith-adjacent things: empathy, compassion, forgiveness, love, intolerance, shame.

Hi, we're Claire and Amanda
(founders of If Lost, Start Here)
If Lost is a resource that combines everything we know about what people need in order to thrive, with all of the places, projects and initiatives that exist to meet those needs.
We believe that in shifting our daily lives in small ways, we have the power to transform our worlds; that strong communities make for happy individuals; that there are places in the world that can hold us, shape us, bring us back to ourselves . . . even when it feels we’ve forever lost our way.
Over are the days of navigating life alone. Let’s find our way, together.
