Journaling Your Way Through Your Emotional Midlife

Midlife can arrive with so many emotions – grief, joy, shame, overwhelm – but often we have neither the time to feel them nor the understanding to make sense of them. We’re too busy to acknowledge what we’re feeling but our emotions are there anyway, coming out in unexpected and unwanted ways.

This grounding workshop, led by Claire Fitzsimmons – Emotions Coach, Writer + Wellbeing Practitioner — offers you the time and space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your emotional life through guided journaling, gentle support and honest conversation. Together we’ll explore tools to untangle what you’re feeling, name what’s present, and build a kinder, clearer emotional toolkit for this time of your life.

However, you’re feeling – anxious or overlooked, sad or angry, regretful or optimistic – this workshop is designed to give you the time and space to check-in with your emotional life.

Expect thought-provoking prompts, group discussion, and a warm, welcoming circle of women navigating this with you. You’ll leave with deeper self-awareness, new insights, and practices you can return to beyond the page.

Who this is for:

Women in midlife (40+) who are:

  • Feeling emotionally overwhelmed, flat, or curious

  • Wanting space to explore their feelings and how that connects with shifting needs and values

  • Craving more emotional clarity or just time to think
