Work with Claire
When something in your life isn’t working, how you feel can help you find your way forward.
1:1 emotions coaching for anxiety, grief, burnout, uncertainty, overwhelm, fear and the moments when you feel lost or stuck.
Sometimes you know exactly why you're struggling. You're going through a career transition, a relationship has shifted, you're grieving someone or something you've lost, work or family life has become overwhelming, or midlife has brought questions you weren't expecting to be asking.
And sometimes it's much harder to explain. Life might look fine from the outside, but you don't feel like yourself within it. You're anxious, exhausted, disconnected or overwhelmed. You know something feels difficult, but you don't necessarily know why or what to do about it.
Often, we know how we feel before we understand what those feelings need from us.
This is a confidential, supportive space to begin making sense of what you're feeling, understand what might be happening beneath the surface and find your way through what you're experiencing.
What People Often Arrive With
Anxiety or fear that is influencing your choices, making your world feel smaller or making it difficult to trust yourself.
Burnout or overwhelm from carrying too much for too long and knowing that simply pushing through isn't working anymore.
Feeling lost or stuck, perhaps knowing something isn't working without knowing what you want instead.
Grief or loss — of a person, relationship, identity, role, possibility or version of life you thought you would have.
Uncertainty about your career, relationships, family, midlife, ageing or what comes next.
Change and transition in your work, relationships or family life that is bringing up emotions you didn't expect or aren't sure what to do with.
"Emotions coaching isn't about fixing how you feel. It's about becoming curious about your emotions so you can understand what they're telling you, what you might need and how you want to move through what comes next."

How We Work Together
Slow down and arrive
1
We begin by slowing things down. There's space to arrive exactly as you are, without needing to explain, justify or have everything figured out. You don't need an answer or a plan. We can start with how you feel.
Name what's there
2
We listen closely to what's actually there — anxiety, grief, anger, fear, resentment, disappointment, uncertainty, overwhelm or something harder to name. Rather than rushing to manage the feeling or make it disappear, we become curious about why it might be here.
Understand what it needs
3
As we explore your emotions more closely, we can begin to understand what sits beneath them: the needs that aren't being met, the beliefs or expectations you're carrying, what matters to you, what you've lost or what might need your attention. What once felt like a tangle can start to become clearer.
Find your way forward
4
Understanding how you feel can make it easier to decide what you need. That might mean setting a boundary, asking for support, allowing yourself to grieve, approaching a relationship differently, making a change or learning how to stay with something you cannot change. The aim isn't to find the perfect answer, but to build the self-trust to navigate what comes next.
Certified Coach · Emotions Coaching Practitioner
Hi, I’m Claire
I work with people experiencing anxiety, grief, burnout, uncertainty, overwhelm, fear or simply the sense that they feel lost or stuck in their lives.
Often these feelings are happening alongside something else: a career transition, midlife, changing relationships, difficult family or work dynamics, loss, ageing, or a period when life simply doesn't look or feel the way it used to.
My approach is calm, compassionate and practical. I won't tell you how you should feel or what you should do. Instead, I'll listen carefully, ask good questions and help you understand what's happening beneath the surface so that you can develop a different relationship with what you're feeling.
Our work can be challenging and relieving, emotional and hopeful. Sometimes it leads to change. Sometimes it helps you find a different way to be with something you cannot change. And sometimes the shift begins simply with finally understanding why something has been so difficult.
Clients often leave with greater clarity, self-understanding, self-trust and compassion — and a stronger sense that their emotions aren't something standing in their way, but something they can learn to listen to as they find their way through.
IIf something here reflects what you're experiencing, you don't need to know exactly what you want to work on before getting in touch.
You can book a free discovery call so we can talk about what's happening and whether emotions coaching feels like the right support for you. Or, if you're ready to begin, you can book your first 60-minute introductory session.
